  • GENERAL PLOT: (No spoilers) A psychopath, played well by Kurt Russell, meets his match with a car full of beautiful girls.

  • REVIEW: OK, first accept that this is an extreme action movie directed by Quentin Tarantino. Enough said. If you don’t like this sort of movie, this film will give you more reasons to not like this sort of movie. Death Proof features some seriously tough chicks. No, do not even think about taking any of these girls home to meet your mother. Kurt Russell is superb in his role. This movie is one of the best in it’s genre. And I’m not even sure what genre that would be. I loved the second chase scene–and without giving a spoiler–let me just say that it is all the funnier when you consider the girls are driving a “borrowed” car.
  • RECOMMENDATION: This is an extreme action movie. Many people will be highly offended by every movie in this genre because of the typical violence, sexual situations, language and other questionable elements. However, if you are a fan of this genre–the action doesn’t get much better (worse) than Death Proof.
