Happy New Year

I hope that everyone is off to a great 2011. Best wishes for your experiences in reading the Bible in the next year. Over two dozen people are reading through the Bible as part of our group. I have distributed Bibles to almost all of you. If you need a One Year Bible, and haven’t received one yet, please call me. We have a few more copies on order, which should get here this week. Genesis is one of the the most action-packed, exciting books ever written. You may be tempted to read ahead. My advice: stick with the readings contained in the One Year Bible. If you have not been a daily Bible reader, I also encourage you to keep up with the daily readings by reading the indicated verses every day, at the same time of day. In other words, make Bible reading a part of your daily routine, so that it becomes a habit. First thing in the morning works best for me–plus it has the added benefit of helping me to get off to a great start, before I get caught up with all the other things that clutter my mind during the day.
