Great American author, Thomas Wolfe (1900 – 1938), wrote a book titled “You Can’t Go Home Again” (published posthumously in 1940). Notwithstanding this literary reference, our discussion notes suggest that you can, and should, go home. Study verses: Luke 15:11-32

For those of you unable to make the pilgrimage to Gainesville, Florida, I’m posting a photo of the famous pledge by Tim Tebow, made in the University of Florida’s National Championship season. This plaque hangs outside Florida Field at the UF football stadium:

To the fans and everybody in Gator Nation, I’m sorry.
I’m extremely sorry. We were hoping for an undefeated season.
That was my goal. Something Florida has never done here.

I promise you one thing. A lot of good will come out of this.
You will never see any player in the entire counrtry play as hard as I will play the rest of the season.
You will never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of the season
