Poll: Where do you get information on zombies?

Here are the results of a poll on K_Line Christian Online, through September 15, 2010.

Night of the Living Dead

How do you get most of your information about zombies? (Multiple choices are allowed, so results total more than 100%)

  • The iNternet: websites such as this or emails (88%)
  • Word of mouth: Friends, family members, coworkers, police officers, etc (71%)
  • TV News (59%)
  • Newspapers, magazines (47%)
  • School or trade groups (47%)
  • Word of mouth: from zombies themselves (41%)[1. Although the survey question is unclear, we assume that “word of mouth” from a zombie also includes actual zombie bites.]
  • All of the other choices listed (12%)

You too can participate in K_Line Christian Online surveys. There is a survey on the right column of every page. Or go to the Survey / Polls category.

More actual zombie film (from Russia)

After the recent posting of the “Zombie Girl” video by K_Line Christian Online, we received this disturbing video from a Russian Source. It is apparently authentic, as it has been posted, in its entirety on YOUTube.comĀ©.

UF Students Get Serious with Anti-Zombie Training

OK. As suggested by a blOg reader, this is a follow up for the April 8th post about “Dancing zombies documented at University of Florida!” First, let me say that we did things differently when I was a student at UF and–though I hesitate to state the obvious–this was a few years back. In particular, we wasted what precious free time we had doing things like watching horror movies at the midnight movies or drinking beer. Frankly, it never occurred to me that I ought to be training for what many people see as the inevitable collapse of human civilization at the filthy hands of a murderous zombie hoard. The scenes shown in this video are from an actual training exercise. No real zombies are shown. No zombies were killed or injured in the making of this video.

Independent Florida Alligator Zombie LogoUniversity of Florida students are now vigorously training in actual combat techniques to defend humankind when zombies get loose “in the wild.” Congratulations UF on a job well done! More about the full training exercise was reported by the Independent Florida Alligator in its in depth news coverage; or on the actual UF zombies vs. humans web site.
