Please see my <a href=\"http:\/\/k-line.org\/9\/2010\/03\/28\/why-do-zombie-themes-and-horror-films-have-space-on-a-christian-website-like-k_line-christian-online\/\">previous post<\/a> on why zombie films are reviewed on a Christian website like K_Line Christian Online.  <b>HOWEVER, even as a fan of the zombie genre, my advice on this movie is, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!<\/b><\/p><\/div><figure id=\"attachment_1619\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1619\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/k-line.org\/9\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ZombieMassDestruction-300x216.jpg\" alt=\"Zombies of Mass Destruction\" title=\"ZombieMassDestruction\" width=\"300\" height=\"216\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1619\" srcset=\"http:\/\/k-line.org\/9\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ZombieMassDestruction-300x216.jpg 300w, http:\/\/k-line.org\/9\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ZombieMassDestruction-150x108.jpg 150w, http:\/\/k-line.org\/9\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/ZombieMassDestruction.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-1619\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Zombies of Mass Destruction<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><b>GENRE:<\/b>  Hard to say.  It&#8217;s an Anti-Christian rant with a zombie theme.<\/li>\n<li><b>ACTORS:<\/b>  Janette Armand, Doug Fahl, Cooper Hopkins, Bill Johns, Russell Hodgkinson, Ali Hamedani, Cornelia Moore, James Mesher, Linda Jensen, Victoria Drake<\/li>\n<li><b>RATING:<\/b>  R<\/li>\n<li><b>PARENTAL NOTE:<\/b>  <i><u>Not intended for children.<\/u>  Bad language and questionable situations.  Violence.  Offensive to several groups, including a <\/i><i>strong anti-Christian theme.<\/i><\/li>\n<li><b>INTENDED AUDIENCE:<\/b>  <i>This movie is intended for fans of the genre, and may not be appreciated by others.<\/i><\/li>\n<li><b>GENERAL PLOT:<\/b>  (No spoilers)  The usual.  There is no real plot to speak of in <em>Zombies of Mass Destruction<\/em>, although having a plot is generally not a prerequisite to a good zombie movie.  Zombies get loose.  The surviving humans cope.  Most of them get bit and turn into zombies.  A few get disemboweled in classic zombie fashion.<\/li>\n<li><b>REVIEW:<\/b>  I am a Christian who loves zombie movies.  However, <b><font color=\"red\">this film is not so much a zombie movie, as it is an <i>Anti-Christian rant, with a zombie theme.<\/i><\/font><\/b>  Seriously, you can&#8217;t be too thin-skinned if you want to enjoy zombie movies.  Many zombie movies depict characters questioning their faith, or have some less than flattering reference to the church.  However, in the case of <i>Zombies of Mass Destruction<\/i> most of the movie is devoted to showing how bad and evil Christians are; and to demonstrate that neither Christians nor Christ Himself have any relevance or worth.  <!--more-->To be fair, other groups are attacked as well.  There is a school of thought which holds that if you are equally offensive to all groups, that no one should be offended.  I don&#8217;t agree.<br \/>\n<font color=\"white\"> .<\/font><br \/>\nThe production values, zombie gore, etc. are actually not bad.  There are a few quality disembowelings&#8211;always the hallmark of a good zombie film.  If the producers of this film cut out the offensive, anti-Christian and anti-Other-Group portions, the actual zombie film wouldn&#8217;t be too bad, except that you would be left with a short, rather than a feature length film.  I read on another web site that <em>Zombies of Mass Destruction<\/em> is a &#8220;social commentary.&#8221;  I agree.  The commentary is basically this: <em> &#8220;Christians are no good.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><b>RECOMMENDATION:<sup class='footnote'><a href='#fn-1614-1' id='fnref-1614-1' onclick='return fdfootnote_show(1614)'>1<\/a><\/sup><\/b>  <i>This is a zombie horror movie.  Many people will be highly offended by every movie in this genre because of the graphic violence, gore, language and other questionable elements.
