The first two humans, Adam and Eve, disobeyed God, and got thrown out of the beautiful garden God had given them. One of their children, Cain, murdered his brother, Abel. …Time passed… Human beings sinned and disobeyed God some more. God gave directions to Noah on how to build a huge ship, called the Ark. Noah did so. He followed God’s instructions exactly, and brought his family and a number of animals with him. God flooded the earth. Only Noah, and the people and animals on the Ark survived. …Time passed… The people living in Babel decided to build a huge tower. They were too proud. God didn’t appreciate their attitude. He made them speak different languages to confuse them and frustrate their towering plans. …Time passed… Abram was born. God made a covenant with his people. Abraham would be the father of many nations, and God would be their God. Abraham’s people would follow God’s law and circumcise their male children.
