Bible Saves Bus Driver’s Life

By Heather Clark

WagonerDAYTON, Ohio – The Bible is being credited for saving the life of an Ohio bus driver who was shot in the chest on Monday by a trio of teenage attackers.

Rickey Wagoner, 49, was driving the city bus as usual on Monday when he began to experience electrical problems with the vehicle.

At approximately 5:20 a.m., he pulled the vehicle to the side of the road, and was soon approached by three teenage boys.

According to reports, three gunshots were fired at Wagoner. Two were aimed at his chest, and a third struck his leg. Wagoner attempted to wrestle the pistol from one of the teens after being shot in the chest, but the gun went off during the altercation. A second teen then stabbed him in the arm with a knife while a third kicked and punched him.

WHIO-TV reports that one of the teens allegedly instructed the other that he must ”kill the polar bear” in order to be “all the way in the club.”

After being stabbed in the arm, Wagoner pulled out an aluminum pen that he carried for self defense and jabbed the teen attacker in the leg. The three boys then began to run away, and the teen …read more

Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolos is PRO LIFE Candidate for US Senate

Senator Mike Haridopolos
Recently I attended a community forum at which Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolos was the featured speaker. He spoke about his goals as the leader of the Florida Senate to get Florida back to work. He also addressed his plans to run against US Senator Bill Nelson. I asked Senator Haridopolos where he stood on the right to life. Senator Haridopolos responded with a pretty forceful explanation as to his strong PRO LIFE position. By comparison, Senator Bill Nelson, is firmly in the PRO ABORTION camp, having “earned” a 100% rating from the radical pro abortion group, NARAL Pro-Choice America. 1

Here is my advice to everyone in the PRO LIFE movement: Always ask your elected officials where they stand on the RIGHT TO LIFE, every chance you get. This serves several purposes:

  1. If the person is PRO ABORTION, their response helps you determine who to NOT VOTE for;
  2. If the person is PRO LIFE, your question confirms to him/her that PRO LIFE VOTERS are active and concerned;
  3. If the person avoids taking a position, you can safely assume they will not take a position when it counts–that is, when it is time to stand up for life!
