I would have thought that cursing offended a lot of people. It is banned on TV and in polite conversations. As it turns out, people in this survey are almost 7 times more offended by "Air quotes," and 8 times more offended by Democrats than they are by cursing. Read for yourself...

Preliminary survey results are in for the question, “Which of the following personally annoys or offends you the most?”1 Results calculated through 03/15/2010.2

  5. Pictures of dogs playing poker or shooting pool. (27%)

  8. A really bad “fashion faux pas” (20%)
  9. A member of your family. (20%)

Notes:

  1. This exercise was promoted as a “fun survey.” This survey was conducted on K_Line Christian Online (www.K-Line.ORG). Survey methodology was such that there is chance some of the results do not represent a scientific poll.
  2. Respondents could provide three answers each, which accounts for the total being more than 100%
